Orientation Dinner and Bus Ticket Sales

Join us for these special events! Tickets will sell out quickly. Tickets will be sold online using links on this page. All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. If you cannot attend, you can sell your ticket to another new international graduate student and then notify Bechtel by email: internationalstudents@stanford.edu of who purchased your ticket. 

Dinner Ticket Sales

Dinners start at 6 p.m. on the days scheduled below, and food is guaranteed only until 6:30 p.m. If you arrive after 6:30 p.m., there may be nothing left!

Dinners are for new international graduate students and their dependents only. Note: For students with a partner or child(ren), the student will buy one ticket online and will then buy tickets for their partner or child(ren) at the dinner. Credit card or digital payment will be accepted at the door. Your student ID card, student ID number, or Sunet ID will be used to check your payment before the dinner. Dinners are $20 per person and include a non-alcoholic drink. 

Thursday, Sept. 10 - Indian Dinner -- Link for ticket sales will go live on Thurs, Sept 3 at 10 a.m.

Friday, Sept. 11 - Italian Dinner -- Link for ticket sales will go live on Friday, Sept 4 at 10 a.m.

Students 21 and over can buy alcohol (wine or beer) at the dinners: 2 drinks for $5

Bus Ticket Sales

Bus trips are for new international graduate students only. No spouses or children will be allowed on this trip because of the limited seating on the buses. Bechtel will be organizing more bus trips and tours during the upcoming year. Bus trips are $50 per person and include lunch. More details on each trip can be found in the schedule.
