Killam Undergraduate Fellowship
The Killam Fellowships Program provides an opportunity for exceptional undergraduate students from universities in the United States to spend either one semester or a full academic year as an exchange student in Canada. The Foundation for Educational Exchange Between Canada and the United States of America oversees this award.
The award carries a value of $5,000 USD per semester ($10,000 for an academic year), and an allowance to offset the cost of health insurance. Fellows also receive up to $800 for in-country travel. Additional benefits include two enrichment seminars held in Ottawa, ON (Fall) and Washington, DC (Spring). Killam Fellows may also apply for our Cultural Awareness Program, which provides funding to travel and explore new places within Canada.
