The Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellowship Program does not have a campus process. The national deadline is in September. The application process is lengthy and requires many months of preparation.

Amount Awarded: 
Up to $95,000; tuition, room, books, fees
Number Awarded: 
Each year it offers 20 graduate fellowships. The program also accepts 15-20 undergraduate students to participate in the six-week Summer Enrichment Program.

About the Rangel International Affairs Fellowship Program

The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program oversees the Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellowship. It seeks to attract and prepare outstanding young people for careers as diplomats in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State. The Rangel Program is a unique partnership between Howard University and the U.S. Department of State, with strong support from the U.S. Congress.
