About the Tortuga Backpacks Study Abroad Scholarship
The Tortuga Backpacks Study Abroad Scholarship was created to help young students experience amazing trips and is awarded biannually to passionate students who want to explore the world beyond the college campus. The winner will receive $1000 and a Tortuga Travel Backpack. The scholarship may be used for tuition, room and board, books, or travel during the study abroad period. Funds will be sent directly to the winner's study abroad program or university. In cases where this is not possible, alternative arrangements will be made.
