Students may notice a "withhold enrollment privileges" statement in their Axess to-do list that states it is "past due". Please ignore this warning. Nothing is past due. The hold cannot be removed until you arrive in the U.S.
All new students have an enrollment hold (ENR 31), as immigration law requires us to verify a student's initial arrival on-campus as well as their current U.S. residence address. This hold will not prevent students from accessing their assigned housing. Students should not have any issue enrolling in desired courses once the enrollment hold is successfully removed.
Fall 2022 New Students - Removing the Enrollment Hold
Please complete the following steps to get your registration hold removed.
1) Update your SEVIS (US) address in Axess
2) Attend an in-person Mataining Your Legal Status session during orientation
3) Brought your Stanford ID card (or number), passport, I-94 information, and I-20/DS-2019 to the Maintaining Your Legal Status session
Registration holds will be removed within 24 hours of completing the steps.
