Background

Katie grew up in the Bay Area and earned her BA in Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, followed by a Paralegal Certificate from San Francisco State University. Before joining Bechtel, she spent 15 years working as a Business Immigration Paralegal, helping individuals and businesses navigate complex immigration processes. Katie is happy to now be part of the academic community, where she enjoys supporting international scholars.
