Background

Parinaz was born in Tehran, Iran and immigrated to the United States at a young age. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Cornell University, her Master’s degree in International Relations at Boston University, and most recently, her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership at San Jose State University. Parinaz worked at various non-profits before entering the field of international education as a part-time international student advisor 20+ years ago. She has held various positions in the field of international education and is excited to be leading the Bechtel team in her current role. Parinaz speaks several languages, has studied and worked abroad, and finds joy in supporting our international community. She is a Fulbright alumna, having participated in two Fulbright programs, Japan (2018) and France (2023).

Parinaz enjoys hiking. She loves to travel, to learn about new cultures, and is especially interested in trying new cuisines.
