Background

Priya grew up in India. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and a Master's degree in Structural & Environmental Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Her background includes software programming, rail bridge design, air quality modeling, teaching, creative writing, and documentary studies.

Fun Facts

An avid international affairs enthusiast, Priya volunteers with the United Nations Association Film Festival, screening over 140 documentaries each summer. In her downtime, she enjoys yoga, reading comics, exploring international cuisines, and taking train journeys around the world. One of her favorite trips is to the Kanha Tiger Reserve in India, famed for inspiring Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book.
